We started Northern Indiana 3D to give local inventors, manufacturers, and businesses access to professional-grade CAD design and 3D printing — without having to ship their ideas out of state.
Our Story
Built from a Passion for Making Things
Northern Indiana 3D grew out of a simple frustration: too many great ideas were getting stuck because the people who had them couldn't find affordable, local engineering support. Inventors were waiting weeks for quotes from distant shops. Small manufacturers were paying premium prices for simple CAD work. We knew there was a better way.
We set up shop right here in Northern Indiana — close to the manufacturers, the makers, and the entrepreneurs who drive this region's economy. Our goal from day one has been straightforward: deliver professional engineering services with the speed and personal attention that only a local partner can offer.
Today we work with everyone from first-time inventors sketching ideas on napkins to established manufacturers who need a reliable engineering partner on call. Every project gets the same level of care — whether it's a single prototype or an ongoing B2B engagement.

We run FDM printers capable of tight tolerances across a wide range of engineering-grade materials — PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, and more. Our CAD work is done in SolidWorks, and we deliver in whatever format your workflow requires: STEP, IGES, STL, DXF, or native files.
